Curtis Lamb

Michael Curtis Lamb, age 59, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016 in Avon Park, FL. He was born on January 10, 1957 in Avon Park, FL to Doyle and Shirley (Byrd) Lamb and has been a lifelong resident. Curtis worked for Crews Equipment, Highlands County, and the Avon Park Correctional Institute. He loved hunting, fishing (worked as a fishing guide), bluegrass music, and his friends. Curtis is survived by his mother: Shirley Childs and sister: Karen Lamb McClain (Bill), niece:  Amanda McClain and nephew: Lucas McClain. He was preceded in death by his father: Doyle Lamb, sister: Kathy Lamb and brother: Philip Lamb.

A memorial service for Curtis Lamb has been planned by Curtis' friends for Sunday, 11/13/16 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Istokpoga Park area off Hwy. 98 just past Neibert's Fish Camp, with the memorializing of Curtis planned for 2:00 pm . All friends are invited and encouraged to attend, are asked to bring a chair, their drink cooler, pictures and stories about Curtis. Everyone is also invited to bring their fishing pole or rod so that we may make one final cast for our dear friend Curtis.
