Crucita Martinez

Crucita Martinez, age 76, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021 in Avon Park, FL. She was born on October 31, 1944 in Las Piedras, Puerto Rico.  She  worked as an orthopedic tech in the healthcare industry, attended Iglesia Oasis De Restauracion Church, and has been a resident of Avon Park for 21 years, coming from Puerto Rico. Crucita enjoyed shopping and going to church.  She is survived by her loving husband Francisco; children-Karlo Chacon-Martinez; Rafael Chacon-Martinez; Sharoline Chacon-Martinez; Lidina Chacon-Martinez; sister-Maria Margarita. Surviving are also 7 grandchildren- Luz M, Ericka, Kiara, Jakira Chacon and Keysha Lee-Chacon and 2 great- great grandchildren-Abdel and Zaid. She was preceded in death by her parents. A visitation will be held from 6:00 – 9:00 pm on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Stephenson Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am at Iglesia Oasis De Restoration Church 721 Memorial Dr. Sebring, FL on Saturday, October 2, 2021 with Pastor Juan Robles officiating. She will be interred in Bougainvillea Cemetery.
