CONNIE LEWIS Connie Lewis, 88, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2012, in Sebring. She was born February 25, 1924, to Donald and Mary (Jackson) Swartout, in Trumansburg, New York, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1986, coming from Clewiston, FL. She was a bookkeeper and a member of First Assembly of God of Sebring, where she was very active in Bible studies and helping older people and was strong in her Christian faith. She enjoyed reading, music, crocheting and crafts and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reginald Heber Lewis, Jr. in 1976 and is survived by her daughter, Debbie Lewis Saunders of Ocoee, FL; son, R.H. Chip (Janet) Lewis of Anahuac, TX; brother, Harold (Barbara) Swartout, Canandaigua, NY; two grandchildren, Jordan Saunders and Reg Lewis and three great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2012, at First Assembly of God in Sebring.
