Connie Colleen Heflin, age 66, of Avon Park, Florida, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2026. She was born November 29, 1959, in Jacksonville, Florida to Solomon P. and Colleen (Ziglar) Elmore. She was a Homemaker, member of First Baptist Church of Bowling Green, FL, most recently attended Life Church of Avon Park, and has been a resident of Avon Park, Florida since 2019, coming from Ft. Meade, Florida. Connie is survived by her Husband – Mike Heflin of Avon Park, FL; Daughters – Sheena Parrish of Avon Park, FL; Catherine Haynes of Lake Wales, FL, Ashley Renee Williams of Panama City, FL; Son – Ronald Grizzard (Sunday) of Lake Placid, FL; 9 Grandchildren; and 4 Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM with family receiving friends beginning at 10:00 AM at the Life Church of Avon Park.
