Collis B. Carter

COLLIS B. CARTER Collis B. Carter, 92, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2010 in Sebring. He was born November 5, 1917, to Jimmy and Annie (Reese) Carter in Scott, Georgia, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1937, coming from Georgia. He was a Line Superintendant with the City of Sebring and a member of First United Methodist Church of Sebring. A former member of the Sebring Lions Club, he loved to fish and hunt and be outdoors and was a member of the Sebring Firemans Association. He is survived by his Wife of almost 75 years, Jackie Carter; Son, Roger and his wife Dottie Carter, Sebring; Sister, Vinnie and her husband Herman Davis of Lake Wales, FL and one Granddaughter, Cheryl Anne Cater.
