COLLEEN CYNTHIA JACOBS Colleen Cynthia Jacobs, 56, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Friday, November 18, 2011, at her home. She was born October 5, 1955, to Collin and Margaret E. (Balash) Shaw in Wilmington, Delaware, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1973, coming from Pemberton, New Jersey. She was an Environmental Specialist in the hotel industry and previously had worked at Thriftway and Publix. She is survived by her husband, Weldon T. Jacobs of Sebring; mother, Margaret E. Shaw, Avon Park; children, Danyle (Daniel) Berish, Sebring; Weldon Collin (Anna) Jacobs, Lake Placid and Jake W. Jacobs, Avon Park; brother, John Shaw, Sunrise, FL and grandchildren, Haley, Mikyla, Hagen and Titan. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 21, 2011, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in her memory to The American Cancer Society.
