CLARENCE R. LARKINS Clarence R. Larkins, 84, of Zolfo Springs, Florida, went to enjoy his Mansion on Sunday, September 12, 2010. He was born June 20, 1926, to Reo Leo and Leona (Dilworth) Larkins in Peninsula, Ohio, and had been a resident of Zolfo Springs since 1979, coming from Dade County, Florida. He was a Plant Supervisor with the School System, retiring from Avon Elementary in Avon Park, and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He attended Whispering Pines Baptist Church in Sebring. Mr. Larkins is survived by his wife, Charlotte Larkins of Zolfo Springs; daughters, Patty (Keith) Kish, Homestead, FL; Bonnie (Cliff) Quiel, Taylor, MI; Sally DuBose, Davenport, FL and Debby (Tom) Reeves, Hardee County, FL; sister, Betty Musisca, Canton, OH; cousin, Frances Vapenik, Lakeland, FL; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Dan DuBose and brother, John Larkins. Funeral services will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 2010, at Whispering Pines Baptist Church, Sebring, with Rev. Steve Trinkle and Rev. Jim Annis officiating. The family will receive friends the hour preceding the service, beginning at 12:00 Noon. Interment, immediately following the service, will be at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park, FL.
