Christopher Wayne Mcgilvray

Christopher Wayne McGilvray, age 67, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023 in Sebring, Florida.  He was born January 9, 1956 in Caribou, Maine to John G. and Helen E. (Hersey) McGilvray.  Chris loved to fish, camp, off road trucking, family trips, and boating.  He owned and operated Creative Concrete from 1984-2000.  He worked on custom and semi-custom residential homes and large commercial projects.  Chris also worked on construction defense projects for Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, NV from 1974-1977.  He was a faithful and compassionate Reformers Unanimous (RU) Group leader.  He developed, mentored, and coached men in the San Diego RU Chapter.  He had a genuine love for God and students in the RU program.  He loved the Lord.  Chris is survived by his Wife – Teresa McGilvray; former Wife – Jo Ann (Vogel) McGilvray; Sons – Wayne McGilvray, Paul Bowker, and Charles Bowker; Granddaughter – Sage Amura McGilvray.  A memorial service will be held Friday, January 5, 2024 at 1:00pm at Independent Baptist Church of Sebring with Pastor Joshua Goodwin officiating.
