Christopher Dean Luke, Jr., born October 30, 1987 in Avon Park, Florida, passed away Friday, September 13, 2013 in Avon Park. He was a lifelong resident of Avon Park, attended Avon Park Lakes Baptist Church, worked with his Papa Noah Cook at Cook Caretakers and enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and reading his Bible. He is survived by his parents Petula D. (Gary) Dressel, Avon Park, FL; Christopher D. (Lynda) Luke, Sr., Bowling Green, VA; siblings Waylon Luke, Avon Park, FL; Chrisnee (R.J.) Brock, Sebring, FL; Shelby Allison Luke, Avon Park, FL; Emily Dressel, Avon Park, FL; Mandybelle Dressel, Avon Park, FL; step-siblings Jesse Garner, Bowling Green, VA; Jake Dressel, Avon Park, FL; Taylor Garner, Bowling Green, VA; Shelby Dressel, TN; grandparents Noah (Judy) Cook, Avon Park, FL; Faye (Walter) Skinner, Avon Park, FL; Nancy Faye (Joe) Bryant, Sebring, FL; aunt Lucinda Foster; uncles Charles (Pam) Luke; Daniel (Dee) Luke; Wesley Cook; Frank (Shari) Flowers and three nieces Korian, Kyla and Kelsey. He will be sadly missed by all his friends and family. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 18, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park, Florida. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Avon Park Lakes Baptist Church with Rev. George Hall officiating.
