Christopher "Chris" James Flowers

Christopher James Flowers, 35, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025, in Sebring, FL. Born on June 23, 1989, in Coral Springs, FL, he had been a proud resident of Highlands County for over 20 years.

A dedicated and skilled auto technician, Chris was known for his strong work ethic and willingness to help anyone in need. He found joy in spending time with his family and friends, cherishing the bonds that meant so much to him. Passionate about cars, he loved racing and the thrill of the track. More than anything, he was a kindhearted and hardworking man who left a lasting impact on those who knew him. The most important part of Chris’s life were his children.

He is survived by his loving mother, Lori Flowers, and stepfather, Tim; His father, James Cogdill; his grandmother, Betty Cogdill; his beloved children, Briella Flowers and Kye Flowers of Sebring, FL; his siblings, Timothy Duncan of Sebring, Alysha Duncan of Sebring, and Nicole Neeley. His best friends, Jesse, Luis, Marc, Jeremy, Salano, Yandy, Pollo and Brandon.

Chris’ kindness, dedication, and love will never be forgotten. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are invited to honor Chris’s life at a funeral service on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home Chapel, 4001 Sebring Parkway, Sebring, FL. A visitation will be held prior to the service at 11:00 AM. He will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery, 90 Saint John St, Lake Placid, FL.
