Christopher Scott Bateman

Christopher Scott Bateman, age 25, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2014 in Avon Park, FL. He was born in Plantation, Florida on November 7, 1988 to Curtis Scott Bateman and Janice Ann Comeau. Christopher had been a resident of Avon Park since 1996 coming from South Florida. He worked in the bakery at the Publix in North Sebring. Christopher enjoyed serving his community as a volunteer Fire Fighter with the Avon Park Lakes Volunteer Fire Department. He also enjoyed video games, and hanging out with his family and friends. Everybody that knew him loved him and he will be greatly missed. Christopher is survived by his parents: Curtis Scott Bateman of Avon Park and Janice, her husband Jim, Comeau of New Hampshire. Brother: Daniel Bateman of Sebring and many good and close friends. Visitation for family and friends will be held at 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral home in Avon Park.
