Christine S. Sauls

Christine Spears Sauls, age 86, was granted her Angel Wings on August 16, 2018 in Avon Park, Florida.  She was born April 27, 1932 in Gainesville, Florida to Lettie Bell Whatley Spears and Hamlin Riece Spears of Vero Beach and former residents of Sebring, Florida.  Mrs. Sauls was a graduate of Sebring High School with the class of 1952.  She was captain of the Basketball Team and captain of the Cheerleaders.  She retired from the Telephone Company with 43 ½ years of dedicated service.  She was preceded in death by her parents Lettie and Hamlin Spears; husband William (Bill) H. Sauls Sr.; son William (Billy) H. Sauls Jr.; two sisters: Elizabeth Ann Altman and Mary Emma Thomas; and one brother Roscoe Harry Spears.  She is survived by one daughter Sandra Kathleen Liberio of Avon Park, Florida; one son Thomas Hamlin Sauls of Avon Park, Florida; two grandsons: Scott Patrick Sauls and Shean Samuel Sauls; one grandaughter Madison Rae Sauls of Frostproof, Florida; and two sisters Linda Gail Quinn of Blueridge, Georgia and Janie Lou Jones of Blairville, Georgia.  Her interest was the love she had for her friends, she would pray for you and with you, she loved fishing and baking cakes and other special dishes for her many friends and helping when she was needed.  She was a member of Life and Praise Ministries.  Memorial services will be held on Saturday August 25, 2018 at Life and Praise Ministries, 831 Memorial Dr Sebring, FL 33870.  In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to the Saint Jude Children’s Hospital.
