Chester Taylor, Sr.

CHESTER TAYLOR, SR. Chester Taylor, Sr., 88, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2011, in Sebring. He was born February 13, 1923, to Abe and Clementine (Clements) Taylor in Calhoun County, Georgia, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1943, coming from Calhoun County, Georgia. He was a Citrus Contractor in the Agriculture industry and a member of Zion Hills Missionary Baptist Church. He is survived by his daughters, Wanda Taylor (James) Aaron of Sebring; Robin Taylor and Sylvia Taylor, both of Orlando, FL; sons, Chester (Maureen) Taylor, Jr., Daytona, FL, Norris Taylor of Sebring and Edgar (Annie Ruth) Nobles, Winter Garden, FL; 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 28, 2011, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2011, at Stephenson-Nelson, with Pastor James Sanders officiating. Interment at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park, will be immediately following the service. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to Good Shepherd Hospice, 1110 Hammock Road, Sebring, Florida 33870.
