CHESTER ASHLEY MESSICK Chester Ashley Messick, age 80, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2011 in Sebring, FL. He was born in Salem, New Jersey on July 17, 1930 to William and Mary (Winfield) Messick. He was a chemical operator for DuPont Chemical Co.; Served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean Conflict; member of Heartland Christian Church; lifetime member of VFW, former member of Lions Club and the Pennsville Auxiliary Police. He enjoyed cooking for his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Anna M. Messick, Sebring, FL; Son, Chester A. (Kathy) Messick, Jr. M.D., Pensacola, FL; daughter, Candy M. (Murray, Jr.) Drummond, Townsend, DE; brothers, Lewis Messick, NJ; Edgar Messick, Port Orange; Harry Messick, Edgewood; Benjamin Messick, WV; Sisters, Anna May Lloyd, NJ; Alice Johnson, IL; 5 grandchildren.
