Charles “Ray” Williams, age 74, of Avon Park, FL, passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, December 2, 2021. He was born on September 17, 1947 in San Antonio, TX to William Gordon “Bill” Williams and Ella “Garetta” Harden. Ray was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a bull rider and loved baseball. For a time, Ray has lived in Montana, Tennessee, and Florida. He was married to his wife, Mary Ann Kerze Williams on February 14, 1985.

Ray is survived by his Wife – Mary Kerze Williams; Children – Ira Shane Williams “Cobb” and Jason Scott Williams “Scotty” of Okeechobee, FL; Vanessa Rae Anderson Sellers of Rock Hill, NC; Casey Ray Williams (Mary) of Culleoka, TN; Grandchildren – Shane Williams, Timberlynn Sellers, Ethan Bowden, and Allie Bowden; Siblings – Donna Jean Prescott (James) of Lake Placid, FL; William “Marvin” Jenkins (Pam) of Fort Myers, FL; Rebecca Varnadore of Winter Park, FL; several Cousins, Nephews, and Nieces. Ray is preceded in death by his parents – William Gordon “Bill” Williams and Ella “Garetta” Harden; and Brother – Howard “Dale” Williams.
