Charles George Stackpole, Jr. age 77, passed away Friday, April 4, 2014 in Sebring, Florida. He was born in Nantucket, Massachusetts to Charles George and Anette Paradis Stackpole. He was a Golf Pro, member of the Elks, he loved playing and teaching golf and loved animals; he had been a resident of Avon Park since 1999 coming from Nantucket, Massachusetts. He is survived by his wife-Sharon Stackpole; children-Scott C. Stackpole, Cindy Stackpole and Debby DeMark; brother-John Stackpole; sister-Ann Menz; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Highlands County: 7321 Haywood Taylor Boulevard, Sebring, Florida 33870.
