Charles Roy Sorge

Charles Roy Sorge, age 90, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on July 11, 1925 in Altoona, Pennsylvania.  Charles was a  U.S. Army veteran serving during World War II. He moved to Sebring in 1978 to enjoy retirement.  Charles loved country music and playing his guitar.  He had many friends whom he loved spending time with.  Survivors include his children: Patricia Harmon (Harold)-Sebring, FL; Shirley Babb-Sebring, FL; Gerald Sorge (Barbara)-Foley, AL and Jeffrey Sorge-Ft. Myers, FL, brother: Irvin Hite-Glenwood, MD, six grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife: Florine L. Sorge.
