Charles Lynn Schnell

Charles Lynn Schnell, age 72, went to be with his Lord, Sunday, September 12, 2021 in Sebring, Florida.  He was born February 13, 1949 in Columbus, Indiana to the late Charles and Irene (Mouser) Schnell.  Charles is survived by his Wife – Linda Schnell of Sebring, FL; Daughter – Kathy Ogg (Brian) of Sebring, FL; Son-in-law – Brad Ogg of Sebring, FL; six Grandchildren and one Great Grandchild.  Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his Daughters – Penny Ogg and Charlotte Templin; Brothers – Terry Schnell and Robert Schnell; Sisters – Janet Schnell, Linda Taylor, and Mary Katherine Schnell; Grandson – Justin Ogg; Great Grandson – Zachary Ogg.

He graduated from Columbus High School in 1967 and married the love of his life in July 1969. For work, he was a jack of all trades and master of all. He worked at Cummins diesel in Columbus, Indiana, spent time honing and perfecting his carpentry skills, dedicated many years of his life as an EMT in Indiana and Michigan, he finished his career days out, by travelling many miles all over the United States, as a truck driver.

His greatest love was being a Pastor and serving in various church ministry capacities. He started in 1973 travelling as an evangelist for church meetings and pastoring churches in Michigan, Indiana, and Florida. He would often preach of a life fully given to God and the wonderful way of Holiness and a pure heart.

Funeral services will take place Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 11:00am at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home with family receiving friends beginning at 10:00am.

In recent weeks, Reverend Schnell had been excitedly sharing and anticipating along with his congregation, the approaching pay off of the Church mortgage, therefore, the Family requests in lieu of flowers, that memorial contributions be made to Bethel Holiness Church at 2821 SR 66, Sebring, FL 33875, in honor of his dearest wish.
