Charles Alan Ryan

age 72, passed away on Thursday March 12, 2015 in Avon Park, Florida. He was born on October 20, 1942 in St. Joseph, Michigan to the late R. Daniel and Aline (Wright) Ryan. Charles had been a resident of Avon Park since 1982 coming from Berrien Springs, MI. A member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, he was a motorcycle enthusiast, enjoyed listening to Dixieland jazz music and the Gaithers Gospel Group, and a favorite pastime was mowing grass and gardening on his John Deer Tractor. Charles is survived by his wife, Joan Ryan; daughters, Kathleen Collier and Karen Ryan; son-in-law, Anthony Collier; brother, Daniel Alan Ryan and two grandchildren, Rory and Amy Collier. There will be a memorial service on Thursday, March 19, 2015, 10:00am, at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park, FL
