Charles "Chuck" Robert Quinn

Charles Robert (Chuck, Bob) Quinn, died at his home in Avon Park, Florida on January 19, 2024 at the age of 83 after battling a long illness. He was born in Plattsburgh, NY on February 21, 1940, the son of Marion G. Favaro and Charles L. Quinn. He was raised in Cadyville, NY, attended Plattsburgh High School and Saranac Central High School, graduating in 1958.

He enlisted in the US Marine Corps on 30 June 1958 and served until 21 December 1962. He then joined the US Air Force and served from 20 March 1963 until he retired on 10 October 1978. After retiring from the military, he worked for Itek Corp. and after a year he and his family moved to Warrenton VA where he began working for GTE Telenet and eventually retired from Sprint at age 55. After that retirement he started Hardware Solutions, Inc. (HSI) in 1995 until he sold his company in 2000.

Chuck enjoyed traveling extensively throughout the U.S in their RV, having a beer with his buddies and whooping his kids in everything they played from Jarts to Horseshoes to bowling and Golf, which he loved but was no longer able to play due to severe back issues.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 60+ years, Constance (Connie) Kathleen (Currier) Quinn and their four (4) sons; Mark, Shaun, Heath and Chad, his sister, Kathy Guilliama and brother, Stephen (Mike) Quinn. Chuck has eleven (11) grandchildren and six (6) great-grandchildren.

His ashes will be interred in Arlington National Cemetery in the coming months. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations please be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Tunnel 2 Towers or Chapters Health Foundation (Hospice) in his name.
