Charles Neal Hershelman

Charles Neal Hershelman, 90, of Sebring Florida passed away Monday, November 14, 2022 in Sebring Florida. He was born December 29, 1931 to Howard and Marian (Rhodes) Hershelman of Erie, Pennsylvania and has been a resident of Sebring since 2009, coming from South Carolina. He was a Missionary with 49+ years of active service with SIM. He served as a teacher and financial officer in Nigeria, Ethiopia, Niger, Kenya, Burkina Faso and Thailand. He was a member of Bible Fellowship Church where he served as a deacon for several years. He is survived by his wife Marian(Cody) Hershelman of Sebring, Florida, daughters Lynn (Jim) Shepard, Lois (Kevin) Casiano, and Laura Hershelman. Marian’s children Jim Garner (Joellen), Jeanine Simpson (David), Teresa Bailey, Gail Swenson(Jay). He enjoyed his grandchildren (12) and great grandchildren. He was a man of God who loved his personal family, mission family and church family.

A memorial service will be held in the SIM Village Chapel early next year. Memorial donation in memory of him may be made to the SIM Sebring Village, 4114 Nigeria Rd, Sebring Florida 33875
