Charles W. Bishopric, age 90, of Sebring, FL and Baldwinsville, NY passed away August 6, 2017. He was born in West Springfield, MA, June 19, 1927. During World War II he served with the Navy Sea Bees, in the South Pacific on Kwjalein, Island. He was a member of the Elm-Belcher Masonic Lodge of Agawam, MA and the Melhi Shrine Unit in Springfield, MA. He lived in Baldwinsville, NY for 39 years with his wife and family. He enjoyed sailing and snow skiing. He came to Sebring for the winters and since 1984 became a year-round resident here in 2002. He was an active member of the Union Congregational Church, Avon Park, FL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, of 65 years. He leaves his children, Nancy (Russell) Odham of Avon Park and their children, Kate Odham (Kyle Kelley) and children Kade and Kasen Kelley; William Odham (Rebecca) and their son Charles Odham, who are serving in the United States Army; and son, Carl (Beth) Bishopric of South Windsor, CT, and their children, Nicole Bishopric and Jesse Bishopric (Ashly) and their children, Autumn and Jace. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 11, 2017 at 11 A.M. at the Historic Union Congregational Church, 136 Butler Ave, Avon Park, FL. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church. Interment will take place in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
