Ceola Luvella Wells, age 65 passed away Sunday, October 9, 2011 in New York. Mrs. Wells was born in Avon Park, Florida to James and Gracie Mae (Porter) Britt. Mrs. Wells was a Certified Nursing Assistant, member of Saint Mark Baptist Church; she was a lifelong resident of Avon Park and enjoyed cooking, attending church and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 49 years-Phillip M. Wells, Sr.; children-Phillip M. Wells, Jr. (Jennifer) of Avon Park, Florida, Pakitta Wells-Felix (Luckens) of Avon Park, Florida, Katrecia Wells of Middletown, New York and Twong P. Wells and fiance Roshida Hernandez of Yonkers, New York; 1 brother and 2 sisters; 7 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held Friday, October 14, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Saint Mark Baptist Church, 251 East Green Street, Avon Park, Florida 33825. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Mark Baptist Church with Rev. Jeremiah Trotter officiating. Burial will follow in Lincoln Garden Cemetery.
