Cecilia Rojas

CECILIA ROJAS Cecilia Rojas, 92, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2010, in Lake Placid, FL. She was born October 9, 1917, to Claudio and Victorina (Pastens) Rojas in LaSerena, Chile, came to the U.S. around 1965 and had been an American Citizen for many years. She had been a resident of Sebring since 1987, coming from Maine; was a Nurse and had worked for the Frances Schervier Hospital and Home for Retired Priests in New York. She had participated in the Senior Olympics; was an avid bowler at Kegal Bowling Center and was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church. Mrs. Rojas is survived by her sister, Victoria Lorca of Chile and good friend, Lillian Webb of Sebring. A Memorial Service will take place at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring, with Father Jose Gonzalez officiating.
