CECILE CONNATSER HANNAH Cecil Connatser Hannah, 90, of Avon Park, Florida, passed away Monday, February 7, 2011, at her home. She was born February 5, 1921, to Stewart C. and Lilly Frances (Mize) Connatser in The Philippines, and had been a resident of Avon Park since 1971, coming from Maryville, Tennessee. She was a homemaker as well as a professional seamstress, making cheerleading and majorette uniforms in Maryville and was a seamstress for many in Highlands County. She taught Sunday School for over 20 years at Carpenters Campground Methodist Church in Tennessee and was a member of Union Congregational Church in Avon Park. She is survived by her daughter, Betty Frances Hannah, Avon Park; sons, Robert Philip Hannah, Smithville, TN and Harold Montgomery Hannah, Oxford, MS; brother, Jimmy Connatser, Maryville, TN; sisters, Ruth Connie Ewell, Avon Park and Naomi Sherd, Seffner, FL; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Interment will take place at Carpenters Cemetery in Maryville, TN.
