Catherine "Katie" Hare

CATHERINE SARAH KATIE HARE Catherine Sarah Katie Hare, 80, of Avon Park, Florida, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Good Shepherd Hospice House in Sebring. She was born October 30, 1931, to Maynard Robert and Marjorie Belle (Gassman) Glor in Attica, New York, and had been a resident of Avon Park since 1979, coming from Attica. She was the owner and operator of a hotel and was a former member of the Attica Golf Club. She enjoyed playing golf, bowling and was an avid Bingo player. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Rex Hare of Avon Park; children, Nancy L. Rautenstrauch, Palm Bay; Susan Hatchett, Avon Park; Thomas (Laura) Hare, Sebring and Timothy R. Hare, Avon Park; brother, Elwin Glor, Chicago, IL; sister, Jane (Jack) Novak, Mansfield, PA; seven grandchildren, Steve Keicher; Heather Keicher; Dylan Rautenstrauch; Chalet Hatchett; Justin Hatchett; Amber Hatchett and Cassandra Hare; four great-grandchildren, Anthony Cotroneo; Angelina Cotroneo; Kamien Moss and Hailey Bronson.
