Catherine D Daly

Catherine D. Daly, born March 11, 1943, in Amsterdam, Holland, passed away on July 14, 2024, in Sebring, Florida at the age of 81 years old.  Catherine was the beloved daughter of the late John and Nellie DeVos. In 1984, she made Sebring her home, moving from Chester, New York.

Catherine is survived by her loving sons: William F. Daly (Donna) of Hilton Head, SC; Patrick J. Daly (Jeffrey) of Ft. Collins, CO; and James D. Daly (Lisa) of Harrisburg, NC. She is also survived by her dear brother, John DeVos Jr., her grandchildren, Kara, Katelyn, Allison, and Elizabeth, and her great-grandchildren, Emma, Kaylee, and Jackson. She was preceded in death by her cherished husband, William Daly and her sister, Henrietta Souchu.

Catherine retired in 2009 after 22 dedicated years of service at Avon Park High School. Catherine's memory will be cherished by all who knew her. Her legacy of commitment and integrity will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
