Catherine E. Cardona

Catherine E. Cardona, age 89, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2013, in Sebring. She was born March 9, 1924, to John and Florence (Henrickson) Balitzski in Jamaica, New York, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1986, coming from Lindenhurst, New York. She was a Clerk for A&P Grocery Stores; was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and she loved to travel and play cards. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Eugene Cardona and is survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2013, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2013, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Avon Park, FL, with Father Nicholas McLoughlin officiating.
