Catalina Luna Castro

Catalina Luna Castro, age 82, of Avon Park, Florida, passed away Friday, January 3, 2025.  She was born September 7, 1942 in La Yerbabuena, Michoacan, Mexico to Jesus Luna Melgoza and Angela Fernanda Garcia Aguilar.  She was a Homemaker, of Catholic Faith, and has been a resident of Avon Park, Florida since 2021, coming from Arcadia, Florida.  Catalina is survived by her Children – Joel Castro (Angelica) of Arcadia, FL; Fabiana Castro (Humberto) of Avon Park, FL; Luis Armando Castro (Maria) of Parrish, FL; Javier Castro (Oliva) of Ft. Pierce, FL; Evangelina Gamez (Carlos) of Avon Park, FL; Anatolio Castro of Arcadia, FL; Jose A. Castro of Arcadia, FL; Miguel Castro (Estela) of Mexico; Numerous Brothers and Sisters; Numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held Friday, January 10, 2025 at 4:00 PM at St. Catherine Catholic Church.  Visitation will be held Friday, January 10, 2025 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at the St. Catherine Catholic Church Social Hall.  Interment will be in La Yerbabuena Cemetery, Mexico.
