Casey J. Boomgaard Casey J. Boomgaard, age 85, passed away on May 23, 2014, in Sebring, Florida. He was born on May 15, 1929, in Grand Haven, Michigan to the late Cornelius J. and Vernice (Stultz) Boomgaard. He was a member of the US Army during the Korean War, the Eagles Club #4240 and the Moose Lodge of Sebring. He enjoyed spending time working in his yard and reading. He especially enjoyed time with family and friends. He is survived by his children: Mary Jo Asmus (Kenny)- Kalamazoo, MI; Lawrence Allen Boomgaard-FL; Amy Marie Kirk (Marlow) - Petersburg, IN; Judy Anne Culler (Gerald)-Lexington, SC; three step-children; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
