92, died Saturday, January 12, 2013, surrounded by family and friends, at home in Winter Haven, FL. Born October 20, 1920 in Lyons, GA, her greatest passion was her family. Elizabeth made Avon Park, FL her home, working with Ben Hill Griffin Inc. and with her brother, Sol, at Bennett and Moseley Building Contractors. She was active in the First Assembly Church in Avon Park, the Gainesville Christian Church and most recently at Family Worship Center. A devoted Christian, she never failed to encourage friends and family with her faith and persuade them to put Jesus first in their lives. She was famous for her cooking and gardening, actively growing her own vegetables until into her 90s. Elizabeth was preceded in death by all nine of her siblings, including her brother and his wife, Sol and Jurelle Moseley, and sisters, Mollie Waters and Marjorie Moseley, all of Avon Park, FL; brothers, Ernest Moseley of Brunswick, GA and E.C. Moseley of Hurst, Texas and husband, John Milton Mackintosh. She is survived by her daughter and her husband: Ila and George Waters; son and his wife: Sherwin and Debbie Mackintosh; grandchildren: Calvin Goggans, Carrie and Jason Kelsey, Israel and Tiffany Goggans, Melissa and Josh Williams, Brian and Christi Goggans, Chase and Sarah Mackintosh, and Shannon and Linda Waters; great-grandchildren: Jackson and Clara Kelsey, Elli Goggans, Aiden and Noah Goggans, and Lindzi, Harlee, and Kody Waters, and soon-to-be Nora Renée Mackintosh; several nieces and nephews including Martha and Gary Pendrak and Sol and Lynn Moseley of Avon Park, FL and Glenn and Nancy Moseley of Hurst, TX; and great-nieces and great-nephews, including Michael and Jennifer Pendrak, and Christopher and Abigail Pendrak. Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from 5-7pm with the funeral service on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 12:00pm, both at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park.
