Carolyn L. Young Moncrief

Carolyn L. Young Moncrief, age 86, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 13, 2024 in Leesburg, FL.  She was born January 17, 1937 in Arcadia, FL to Ellie Blackshear and Mamie Lois (Bacon) Young.  Carolyn was a Homemaker and worked with her husband, Marvin L. Moncrief.  He preceded her in death on September 10, 1988.  She is survived by her Daughters – Pamela Moncrief Greenwell of Leesburg, FL and Terry Moncrief Rosenfeld of Leesburg, FL; Grandchildren – Ashley Casler, Matthew Rosenfeld, Heather Quinn, and Caitlin Greenwell; Great Grandchildren – Charlie, Greyson, Dalton, Jackson, and Landry.  Along with her husband, she was also preceded in death by her Brothers – Charles Wesley Young; James Arden Young; John Harrison Young; and Sister – Ellie Juanita Young Vitali.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 9:30 am with visitation beginning at 9:00 am at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at 3:00 pm at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Arcadia, FL.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Frank & Helen DeScipio Tavares Hospice House, Tavares, FL  32778.
