Carol Roberts Orth, 78, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012, in Sebring. She was born November 9, 1933, to Chester and Theresa (Hibma) Roberts in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1933, coming from Homestead, FL. She was a Registered Nurse and was active in the Parish Nursing Program and chaired the Ostomy Support Group. She was a member of the Emmanuel United Church of Christ and was in the Bell Choir and other activities in the church. She was also a member of the Highlands Orchid Society and the Highlands Quilting Guild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Gerhart Orth in 2009 ad is survived by her children, Donna (Bryant, Jr.) Hickson, Oviedo, FL; Jim (Carla) Orth, Royal West Palm Beach, FL; Karen Henington, Homestead, FL and Melody Orth, Orlando, FL; siblings, Edith, Alice, Ellen and Chris; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 23, 2012, at Emmanuel United Church of Christ with Pastor George Miller officiating. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Emmanuel United Church of Christ, 3115 Hope Street, Sebring, FL 33875.
