Carol Jean Grant

Carol Jean Grant, age 68, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014 in Frostproof, Florida. She was born on December 23, 1946 in Lake Wales, Florida to the late Odell and Annie Mae (Mixon) Pitts. Carol had been a lifelong resident of Frostproof. She enjoyed gardening, jigsaw puzzles, and especially spending time with her family and her pets. Carol was loved by all who knew her and was known as "mom" to many. She will truly be missed. Carol is survived by her daughters: Pamela Thompson of Avon Park, Maxine Bullard of Frostproof, sons: Michael Brown of Frostproof, Kevin Brown of Frostproof, sister: Mary Pitts of Frostproof, brothers: Roy Pitts of Frostproof, Lewis Pitts of Frostproof, grandchildren: Chace, Brittanie, David, Austin, Nadine, Jack, Troy, Christina, and great-grandchildren: Zayden, Harper, and Dakota. Carol was predeceased by her brother: Earnest Pitts and daughter: Nadine Lockard.
