Carmen Josefa Lopez

Carmen Josefa Lopez, age 93, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022 in Sebring, FL. She was born on February 22, 1929 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico to Alfonso Lopez and Catalina Rodriguez. She  worked as a social worker, and she loved our Lord. Carmen is survived by her loving children, Luis Maldonado; Catalina Soto; Jose A. Maldonado; Fernando Maldonado; Judith Ellis. Surviving are also 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one twin sister. Visitation will be held from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Tuesday, May 24 at  Stephenson Nelson Funeral Home with the service to be held the following day on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at 12:30 pm. Interment will be held at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Save the Children Foundation.
