Carlos "Bud" Lowell

Carlos "Bud" Lowell, age 72, passed away on Monday March 16, 2015 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on December 1, 1942 in Buffalo, New York to the late Carlos and Grace (Walther) Lowell. Bud spent his career with General Motors Corp. as a Tool & Die Maker. He moved to Highlands County in 1993 from Buffalo, he attended Heartland Christian Church of Sebring. Bud was a member of the Highlands Ridge Golf Club where he was an avid golfer. He was an excellent handy-man and enjoyed helping others in his community around their house. He was known by all for his marvelous sense of humor. He loved his family and will be greatly missed. Bud is survived by his wife: Linda Lowell-Avon Park, FL, children: Dr. Carlos G. Lowell (Susan)-Sandusky, OH; Eric Lowell (Debbie)-Buffalo, NY; Carrie Stern (Douglas)-East Rockaway, NY; Gregory Allen (Tabitha)-Canal Winchester, OH; Matthew Allen (Karen)-Waterford, WI; Sherri Tamasovich (Larry)-Canal Winchester, OH, brother: Robert Lowell (Annie)-Buffalo, NY, twelve grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and finally he was survived by his faithful friend: Maggie.. He was preceded in death by his sister: Pauline Simonick. A Celebration of Bud's Life will be held at Founder's Hall in Highlands Ridge on Friday, March 27, 2015, 5:00pm, with Pastor Ted Moore officiating.
