Carl William Journell, 77, formerly of Ft. Lauderdale, FL passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 in Sebring, FL. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Betty; his daughter, Debbie; his son, John; granddaughter Ashley; sister, Sue (Jimmy) Riley of Salem, VA, sister-in-law Jennifer (Bob) Maitre; as well as 18 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Frances Journell; brothers, Robert and Dalton; and sister, Phyllis J. Reustle.
