Calvin Walter Workman, age 71, passed away on February 12, 2020. He was born on July 14, 1948 in Atlantic City, New Jersey to Martin and Lela Workman. Calvin had been a Highlands County Resident since 2012 coming from Lasalle, Illinois. He proudly served his country in the Unites States Army and was a member of the American Legion and VFW. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and playing his guitar. Calvin is survived by his wife, Charlotte, children, Kevin (Dawn) McAvoy of Illinois, Joseph (Delores) Workman of Tennessee, and Melissa Flores of Sebring, Florida; siblings, Shirley, Barbara, Rex, Linda Tomma Lee and Joe; eleven grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Quinn and Riley.
