Calvin Theodore Mcafee

Calvin T. McAfee, age 85, of Avon Park, Florida passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017 at his home. He was born December 6, 1931 in Avon Park, Florida to Toy and Lessie (Earnest) McAfee. He worked as a Manager for warehouse and storage, was a member and deacon at the Florida Avenue Baptist Church, served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and has been a resident of Avon Park, FL since 1998, coming from East Greenbush, NY. Calvin was a loving father who is survived by his daughters - Denise Jackson of Avon Park, FL; Joyce Harant of West Milford, NJ; Joan Pellicier (Demetrius) of Columbia, NJ; 5 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren; Son-in-law - Stephen Harant of Hewitt, NJ; and a special friend - Barbara Smoot of Avon Park, FL. He was preceded in death by his wife - Helen C. McAfee; son - Christopher McAfee; and four brothers. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 2, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Avon Park Lakes Baptist Church with interment following in the Gardner Baptist Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the Stephenson-Nelson
