BRUCE SANFORD SNOOK Bruce Sanford Snook, 81, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at his home. He was born February 10, 1929, to Curtis and Mabel (Beznochak) Snook in Sturgis, Michigan, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1976, coming from Freeport, New York. He was a Police Officer for 20 years in Freeport and a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church in Sebring; the VFW; Moose and American Legion. Mr. Snook is survived by his daughter, Janet Bailey-Kappesser of Sebring; sons, Eugene Snook, Sebring and Bruce Snook, St. Petersburg, FL; brother, Gary Snook, Lakeland, FL; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorial Services, with military honors, will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 1, 2010, at Atonement Lutheran Church, Rev. Eugene Fernsler officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Disabled Veterans Association or St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
