Bruce Alan Macnicol

Bruce Alan MacNicol, age 69, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2022. Bruce is survived by his loving wife –  Judy (nee Owens); Sons – Bruce MacNicol (Lauranne)and Chris MacNicol (Tonya); Step-son – Adam Easton (Lisa Graven); Step-daughter – Amanda Easton Bird (Joshua); and 10 Grandkids – Piper and Trip MacNicol, Tate, Tanner and Tucker MacNicol, James, Lauren and Asher Bird, and AJ and Gabriella Easton. Bruce is also survived by 4 Brothers­ – Ken Jr., John (Joanne), Brien (Teresa), and Scott (Trish); 1 Sister – Cheryl Vought (Jack); dear Cousins – Wilma and Chuck Jones; and numerous beloved Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents – Kenneth and Eleanor MacNicol.

Bruce was a wonderful and loving Husband, Dad, Grandpa and a Friend to many. He will be remembered for his humor, his booming voice, and his opinion of Nascrap (aka Nascar). He was a retired, duty disabled Detroit police officer and a trash talking card player. He sounded gruff sometimes with that voice of his, but in reality he was just a big teddy bear. His 2 boys were his pride and joy and he loved being a funny, crazy Grandpa.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
