BRENDA JOYCE SMITH Brenda Joyce Smith, 65, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Monday, May 2, 2011, in Sebring. She was born January 12, 1946, to John Henry and Ethel Mae (Dailey) Prewitt in Lexington, Kentucky, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1979, coming from Lexington. She was a Production Scheduler for Turf Care Products; was a member of Women of the Moose and was of the Christian faith. She is survived by her husband, Dana Mark Smith of Sebring; daughters, Julia (Walter) Norton, Stanfield, NC and Laura (David) Lusby, Lake Placid, FL; son, Brent Smith, Arcadia, FL; sister, Mary (Bill) Wheat, Lexington, KY; brother, Mason (Brenda) Prewitt, Lexington, KY and grandchildren, Cole and Samantha. A Memorial Service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2011, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring. Memorial donations may be made to The American Cancer Society or cancer.org.
