Bonnie Lynne Joynes

Bonnie Lynne Joynes, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 in Sebring, Florida. She was born to the late Roland P. and Florence (Kerns) Joynes. She had been a resident for 10 years coming from Broward County, Florida. Bonnie was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army for 20 years, retiring as a Master Sergeant. Bonnie earned her Master's degrees in Education and Criminology. She taught primary school and enjoyed her work with differently-abled children, especially while employed with the Broward County DFCS. Bonnie loved helping people and animals. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels in Sebring for six years. Survivors include her life companion Barbara Hughes of Sebring, FL; brother Roland P. Joynes, Jr. (Kimberly); dear friends: Carolyn and Robert Fairey; nieces April Chalmers (James Stacey); Brigitte Schutz; DeBritt Cortes; Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews James Parker Chalmers; Lorelai Lea Chalmers; Delilah Faye Chalmers; Hattie Frances Chalmers; Drew Marcinkowski (Elizabeth); John Ellaure (Briseis Cortes).
