Blanche Earlene Hambrook

Blanche Earlene Hambrook, age 89 passed away Monday, May 2, 2011 in Tennessee. She was born in Shamrock, Oklahoma to Earl E. and Elsie Marie (Nicholas) Edgar. She was a homemaker, a dedicated member of Bethany Baptist Church in Avon Park, Florida, she had been a resident of Avon Park since 1983 having recently moved to Seymour, Tennessee; she loved and enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hambrook is survived by her daughters-Sharon Whitehead (Darwin) of Greensboro, North Carolina, Marian Harsh (Tom) of Seymour, Tennessee and Patricia Demonica (Daniel) of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Pete Hambrook. Visitation will be held Friday, May 6, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon (1 hour prior to service) with service beginning at 12:00 noon in the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home with Pastor Ben Kurz officiating.
