Billy Lyle Cravey

Billy L. Cravey, age 80 passed away July 8, 2010 after a long illness. He was born November 29, 1929 in Hahira, Georgia to James Monroe and Cora B. Cravey. Billy was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers Jim and Wayne Cravey. After graduating from Avon Park High School, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served 4 years. He received a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida in 1958. He was retired from IBM. Survivors include his sons, Steve, Bill, John and Robbie Cravey; daughters, Cindy Cross, Brenda Lockard and Bonnie Long and a sister, Mary Lucy Carter. He was also blessed with 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held by his children at a later date.
