Billie Sue Barrington, age 81, of Avon Park, Florida, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2026. She was born December 25, 1944 in Topeka, Kansas to William and Virginia (Whitmarsh) Flowers. She worked in the Bakery at Publix and retired in 2019. She is of Baptist Faith and has been a resident of Avon Park, Florida since 1985. Billie is survived by her loving Companion – John Hardy Phillips of Avon Park, Florida and several Nieces and a Sister-in-law. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 1, 2026 at 2:00 PM with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home of Avon Park. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
