Bill M. Goad
Billy Myers Goad, age 82 of Sebring, passed away on August 15, 2018 after a long illness. He was in the loving care of his wife Carole.
Bill was born in Otwell, Arkansas in December of 1935, the son of Ira Edward Goad and Dora Clark Goad.
He is survived by his wife Carole: step-children: Patrice Dossetti (Tony) of Merced, California, Ellen Lemos (Tony) of Sebring and Kent Leonard (Alexandra) of Port St. Lucie; grandchildren Jenna Dossetti and Heather Lemos; brother Marvin Goad (Doris) of Lansing, Michigan, sisters Dorothy Richey (Douglas) and Marlene Denison (Wayne) both of Mason, Michigan; and many nieces and nephews.
Bill was an avid Life-Long classic car and hot rod enthusiast. He liked working with the big, powerful engines, which he did for many years at Oldsmobile in Lansing, Michigan. He had a talent for designing and painting graphics on specialty vehicles, such as race cars. He also enjoyed fishing and gospel music.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 25 at First Presbyterian Church, 319 Poinsettia Avenue in Sebring with the Rev. Darrell Peer, Rev. Don Davis and Rev. Allen Altvater III officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill’s name to the New Testament Church and Mission, 604 Lemon Avenue, Sebring, FL would be greatly appreciated.
