Beverley Eileen Fawley, age 85, peacefully went Home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 1, 2025. She was born on November 26, 1939, in Delburne, Alberta, Canada to Glen M. & Thelma A. (Smith) Waddell. A country girl at heart, Bev often recalled fond memories of growing up on their farm and spending time with family and friends in their rural community. While she was in Bible School, Bev met the love of her life, Jerry Fawley; together they served as missionaries with SIM in Nigeria, followed by an appointment State-side in California, before becoming residents of Sebring, Florida in 2005. They were a strong team rooted in love, faith and service. A longtime member of First Baptist Church of Sebring, she served faithfully in the choir, Keenagers, Bible studies and children’s ministries. She loved music, invested in people, treasured her friendships, and served her church and community with the biggest heart. Bev was gifted in organizing, planning and making all things pretty. She was always up for playing a game and enjoyed crocheting and being in the kitchen. She delighted in having an open door and serving a cup of coffee. Never meeting a stranger, ministering to others was near and dear to Bev’s heart; her desire to help and her faith in the Lord were examples to many. Beverley was preceded in death by her parents, her husband – Jerry Fawley, and her brother – Willis Waddell. A loving mother and sister and devoted grandmother and great-grandmother, Bev is survived by her daughters – Denise Chism of College Station, TX and Debbie Clemmer (Hal) of Alpharetta, GA, her sisters – Dorothy Koch (Willard) and Sylvia Davis (Darrel), her brother Ron (Barb), her six grandchildren – Kyle, Tyler, Kaleigh, Kendall, Kacie and Preston, and her three great-grandchildren – Beckett, Baker and Aurora Grace. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends who loved her and whom she loved dearly in return. Bev’s legacy of service, faith, strength and unwavering love lives on in the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed.
