BETTY THOMPSON Betty Thompson, age 94, passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 in Sebring, FL. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 18, 1918 to Arthur and Libbie (VanNort) Scott. She was a homemaker and of the Protestant Faith. She enjoyed traveling with her family in an RV and she was a resident of Sebring since 1997 coming from Livonia, Michigan. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Thompson of Sebring, FL and her niece Geraldine McKinney of Hudson, FL; she was preceded in her death by her husband of 69 years, Virgil R. Thompson.
