Betty Ruth Swanton

Betty Ruth Swanton, age 70, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 in Sebring, Florida. She was born on August 24, 1945 in Asheville, North Carolina to the late Millard H. and Ruth (Nash) Ledbetter.  Betty was a L.P.N. for 40 years; she enjoyed crafts, flea markets and going to garage sales. She had a servant’s heart always helping those in need.  She loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with them.  Survivors include her husband, Jerry Swanton, daughter, Cindy Jones and son-in-law, Phillip Jones, son, Scott Swanton, two grandchildren, Rachel and Anna Swanton and three great-grandchildren, Mani Marrs; Lily Ogles and Myah Christofferson.  Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to: Good Shepherd Hospice, 1110 Hammock Road, Sebring, FL 33870 ( www.chaptershealth.org )
